Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan are located around Bedugul, Sukasada Village, Buleleng Regency in the rich submontane rainforest area. These lakes are located between Lovina Beach, Ulun Danu Beratan temple and Gitgit waterfall in a very strategic area.

It offers a very nice experience if you want to visit Mount Lesung as it is background. This area has now been developed, which every day comes to this place from a lot of tourists, from domestic tourists to foreign tourists.

From Asah Gobleg area, we can see the panorama directly. There is plenty of room for sitting and relaxing on the street side as we watch the lake. Because this area is between the two lakes. For the people who liked camping, there is also a camping support location in this area.

From Denpasar to the north we can reach this lake for about 2 – 3 hours. There are also many monkeys around the lake that appear randomly on the street near the lake. There are some facilities in this lake, such as parking area, traditional boat rentals in this lake for recreation and even fishing.

Lake Buyan

Lake Buyan is Bali’s smallest lake near Tamblingan Lake. It is situated in the area of the plateau and is covered by cool weather. It is located in the high ground surrounded by hill and rain forest. The fog usually blankets the area since the location in the plateau area. You can see this lake from the top of the hill called Asah Gobleg.

Asah Gobleg itself is the name of the countryside on the top of the hill where the villagers live with farming. Buyan Lake is about 3.9 km wide, with a maximum depth of 87 meters and a volume of water of 0.116 km3. As a tourist destination, the stop point with traditional chair along the road was available at Buyan Lake.

Particularly at night, the temperature in this place is relatively cool and there are many visitors from the local area in particular.

Lake Tamblingan

Lake Tamblingan is a lake surrounded by a green hill in the plateau area. It is located at the adjunction with cool weather to Buyan Lake. It has the fascination where you can feel the authenticity of nature and the lack of motorized boat here. From the top hill right of Asah Gobleg Countryside, Sukasada District, and Singaraja Regency, north of Bali, you can see these beautiful lakes.

This lake is ideal for Jungle Trekking Adventure because the rain forest, including observation of flora and fauna, is very amazing.

Besides that, while enjoying the beautiful nature, many local visitors are doing camping program or building outdoor teams. Local residents can also see here using the small traditional boat called Perahu to cross the lake or fish. The existence of a monkey not far from these two lakes is located right next to the main road from Denpasar to Singaraja.

It is located about 1000 meters above sea level in the high land so that at night the atmosphere is quite cold and chilled. Gradually, the quantities are increasingly dwelling in this area and it was one of the tourist’s fascination visiting it.
