Banjar Hot Spring is a natural hot spring from the ground that is thought to cure the disease. Its water is located in a small pool, surrounded by unique rural nature, near the Wihara (Buda Temple). Banjar Hot Spring is located in the countryside of Banjar, and Regency of Singaraja. It is about 1,5 kilometers from Banjar or 24 kilometers to Singaraja City.
In order to reach Banjar’s hot spring location, motor vehicles can be used through the good condition main road and pass through the Balinese Village with its unique cultural life. The nearest accommodations are available in the Lovina Beach area as hotels or restaurants.
There are also many public transportation links to the city of Singaraja. This hot spring source has been predictably built since centuries and since Indonesia has been colonized in Japan, it has developed into three pools to relocate the water to take a bath. The Japanese also developed their military officer’s resort near this area.
Bathed in hot water containing brimstone, the skin disease can be healed. This Japanese-built public bath is now used by public society. Next to this, this place is now open to tourists who can swim in this bath in a hot pool and also simply enjoy the water fall.
Enjoying the hot water, we can be squeezed, particularly at the pool with a shower approximately 3,5 meters high, so that the body can refresh and relax. The Banjar hot sping is gradually becoming an interesting location in northern Bali or a popular tourist destination in Singaraja Bali.
Now many tourists from local and foreign countries have visited this place. It is a mini tourist object that can be easily reached from the beach of Lovina and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., except Nyepi Day (Silent Day).
